Keeping Big Bend wild, open, and protected

I am the founder and executive director of the Big Bend Protection Alliance, a Texas nonprofit corporation and IRS-approved 501(c)(3) public charity organized for environmental conservation and education in the Big Bend region of Far West Texas. The alliance coordinates regional conservation groups, cultural-heritage organizations, and community members to protect the ecological and cultural integrity of the region through education, research, and public awareness.

Through the Defend Big Bend campaign, we built an educational hub, an interactive before-and-after wall-route map, take-action tools, and a research library drawing on more than 827 government sources. Donations are tax-deductible, and the organization is listed on the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search (EIN 41-4611124).
